Defining Industrial Relations

In a wider sense, industrial relations include all the relations maintained by an enterprise with different society sections, including employees, the state, customers and the public with which it interacts.

In a strict sense, it names all the relations between employers and employees, trade unions and management, workers and trade unions, and between workers themselves. Moreover, it also includes all the formal and informal relations within an organization.
